		<description><![CDATA[Nancy was out of town for the day so I did some walking in Rosslyn and Washington DC, stopping at several places I have wanted to see for a while.  The weather was unusually warm for the middle of spring so many people like myself took the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[My brother and step brother have wanted to go hiking for a while.  On New Years Eve my brother and I determined we would set a date to hike in January and we stuck to it.  Matt decided to join us as he wants to get outside and hike more often.  For both of them, it was the first time hiking the mountain.  I don't think they knew what they where getting into when we started.  But we made it up the mountain and everyone had a great time.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[While in Rehoboth Beach to celebrate New Years I decided to hike Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge.  It has been to long since I went hiking so I relished the opportunity to get outside.  This year I went hiking before New Years Eve when I was still full of energy and not hung over. 		<description><![CDATA[Labor Day weekend hike in the Shenandoah.  Traditionally this has been a weekend for Jimmy Buffett but he didn't plan a show at Jiffy Lube over the weekend.  He did come the weekend before but that show got cancelled due to hurricane Irene.  It was a busy day on the trail with a lot of people taking the opportunity to get outside.]]></description>
