Phish was on fire during the entire summer tour and I had already seen shows in Portsmouth, VA and Saratoga Springs, NY. Both shows rocked and I was hoping for an even better performance here. I was also hoping for a better showing than last years. Saturday's was great and Sunday's was even better, certainly the best on tour I saw.

A blizzard two days before that dumped 25 million pounds of snow on the stadium had other ideas. What was suppose to be a great evening was anything but. The Redskins couldn't put any points on the board so the Giants walked all over them. The night was not only a waste of time but money as well.

Not so much for the game, because our season up till now has been pretty bad. I was more looking forward to the tailgating and drinking. Mission accomplished!
I was very excited for this particular Phish show. It would be my third during the summer tour, but I consider Merriweather Post Pavilion to be my "home turf" when it comes to Phish shows. I saw my first ever Phish show here in 1998, then again in 1999 and 2000. I was also taking along my buddy Jeremy for his first post reunion show, so I was very excited. We planned to tailgate and then see the show. Well the tailgating didn't happen and the show, well.......read on for what I thought about it.
