Arrived early in the city to get some food and have a few drinks at the Tap and Parlour before heading to the show. Antibalas opened and performed well, MMW played two sets, the entire second set was with Antibalas. What a great show.

The annual cherry blossom festival in DC is a big to-do each year. Thousands of people flock to the city at the peak of the blooms to enjoy their beauty. Nancy and I are no different and took Metro into the city, anyone driving is an idiot. We even got off at the Arlington Cemetery stop and walked across the Memorial Bridge to avoid some of the crowds. The beautiful weather was spectacular and allowed us to enjoy a picnic while we were there.
